I don't hear anything

• Click the Krakle icon in the menu bar. Check that Sounds on is switched on and the volume isn't at zero.
• If the menu says Krakle needs permission, click Fix… and turn on Krakle in System Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Input Monitoring. Then click Relaunch in the menu.
• Krakle goes quiet while your microphone is in use and while you type a password. The menu tells you when this is happening.

Krakle goes quiet during calls

That's on purpose, so people on the call don't hear your keys. To change it, click Settings… in the Krakle menu and turn off Go quiet when the microphone is on.

How do I mute it quickly?

Press ⌥⌘K in any app. Press it again to unmute.

There's a delay with Bluetooth earphones

Bluetooth adds its own delay, and apps can't remove it. Wired earphones and your Mac's speakers have much less delay.

The sound feels like it's inside my head

In the Krakle menu, set Where it sits to On the desk. If Krakle doesn't notice you're wearing earphones, click Settings… and set Sound comes out of to Headphones.

How do I make my own keyboard sound?

Click Settings… in the Krakle menu and turn on Show the advanced editor. Then click Open Krakle… to open the Studio.

How do I uninstall Krakle?

Click Quit in the Krakle menu, then move Krakle from Applications to the Trash. You can also remove it from System Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Input Monitoring.
